The Bible and Meditation
(Description and Course Outline)
This course is an introduction to the Bible as a foundational text for learning meditation techniques that will transform your life from the inside through the cultivation of prophetic powers. It will give a solid foundation for the study and practice of Hebrew spirituality (a.k.a. Kabbalah, both Jewish and Christian) from a uniquely Africentric perspective. First, during this biblically-based course of study the student will be given evidence that the bible is an Afrikan book in terms of its geographic origins, the ethnicities of its people, their spirituality and the languages/dialects in which it was written. Second, selected biblical narratives will be studied as models for the transformation of ordinary consciousness into extraordinary consciousness. And third, the transformative power of the Hebrew alphabets and texts will be explored as the catalyst for developing biblically-based prophetic powers.
